One of the most challenging endeavors is to start a business, particularly for the first time. The myriad of tasks, considerations, and problems are sometimes overwhelming. You search for office space, office equipment, phone service, alarm service, banks, accountants, lawyers, insurance, all the way down to what color to paint the walls.
The single task that almost everyone overlooks is what to do with technology, or more simply, computers and networks. People pick their banks, their insurance agents, their accountant, their lawyers, and everything else with the greatest of care. Yet, with no experience whatsoever, they simply walk into a computer store knowing that the first computer they see will address every one of their needs.
Take our word for it, they're wrong.
You could connect every outlet in your house to the same circuit breaker. It just won't work. Even if by some miracle it does work, it won't work well. You might be able to turn on the bathroom light today, but tomorrow you might have the microwave running at the same time, and poof. You could also connect fifty phones in your house, but it's a pretty good bet that none of them will ring and you probably wouldn't be able to talk on them even if one did.
If you're starting a business, you hire a lawyer because you aren't a lawyer, you hire an accountant because you aren't an accountant, you find a banker because you're not a banker, so why assume you're a technology expert if you're not?
We are technology experts. Talk to us before you spend a small fortune on equipment that won't solve your problem anyway.
p.s. although we could help you pick a paint color, we're really not that good at it.
